Your Strategy Has a Best Setting. You'll Never Find It by Hand. Our AI Will.
Stop manually tweaking TradingView strategy parameters. TradingView Strategy Optimizer AI runs hundreds of backtests and evolves the strongest settings automatically.

TradingView's Strategy Tester shows you one backtest at a time. TradingView Strategy Optimizer AI runs hundreds — then evolves the winners like a breeding program until only the strongest settings survive.
The weekend you'll never get back
You build a strategy. The backtest looks almost good. So you nudge the RSI length from 14 to 12. Run it again. Try 10. Tweak the stop loss. Change the overbought level. Run it again.
Three hours later you've tested maybe 30 combinations out of 500 possible ones — and you still have no idea whether you found the best settings or just the best of the ones you happened to try.
That's not optimization. That's guessing with extra steps.
Meet the optimizer that does it for you
TradingView Strategy Optimizer AI connects directly to your TradingView Desktop chart, reads your strategy's inputs automatically — numeric ranges, dropdowns, on/off toggles — and takes over the grunt work:
- ▸Auto-detects every input in your strategy. RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, or your own custom Pine Script — it doesn't matter.
- ▸You pick the ranges, it builds the test matrix.
- ▸Every combination runs through TradingView's own backtest engine — real historical data, your actual strategy logic, no simulations, no shortcuts.
- ▸Pause, resume, or stop anytime and keep the results you already have.
Two scan modes: Quick Scan and Genetic Scan
Quick Scan samples your parameter space fast, backtesting random combinations and keeping a live-ranked leaderboard of the best performers. Great for a first look at where the profitable zones are.
### Genetic Scan is where the AI earns its name
Instead of blindly testing every combination, it breeds better settings — the same class of algorithm used in engineering design and machine learning:
- ▸Elites (top 20%) — the best combos found so far survive to the next generation untouched. Proven winners are never thrown away.
- ▸Crossover (40%) — pairs of top performers are "bred" together, mixing their parameters. Your best RSI length meets your best stop loss.
- ▸Mutation (40%) — clones of strong performers get a random parameter tweak, so the search never tunnels in on one lucky spot and misses a better one nearby.
Repeat for 10 generations, and the population converges on the strongest region of your parameter space — typically testing far fewer combinations than brute force while finding better settings, because it spends its backtests where the money actually is.
Example: a parameter grid with 500 possible combinations. Brute force = 500 backtests. Genetic Scan with a population of 20 over 10 generations = ~160 backtests, each generation smarter than the last. Duplicates are automatically skipped, so not a single backtest is wasted.
The part nobody else does: overfitting protection
Here's the dirty secret of every optimizer: the #1 result by net profit is often the most overfit — a fluke that memorized the past and will faceplant in live markets.
That's why every result gets more than a profit number:
- ▸Robust Score — a composite that weighs profit factor, win rate, drawdown, and trade count together, so a 3-trade lottery ticket can't outrank a 200-trade workhorse.
- ▸Stability Stars (1–5 ★) — the optimizer nudges the winning parameters and re-tests. If profits collapse when RSI length moves from 8 to 9, that's a cliff, not a strategy. Stable settings earn stars.
- ▸Robustness Rating with a plain-English verdict — every report ends with a recommendation you can actually act on, from "Excellent candidate for forward testing" down to "High overfitting risk. Do not use live without further validation."
No other TradingView optimizer tells you when not to trust its own results.
What you get at the end
A full ranked report: best parameters, net profit, win rate, profit factor, max drawdown, recovery factor, stability stars, robustness rating, and the recommendation. Sort by any metric. Review your full optimization history anytime. Apply the winning settings back to your chart in one click.
Stop tweaking. Start evolving.
Your strategy's best settings exist. The only question is whether you find them — or whether you spend another weekend testing 30 combos by hand and hoping.
Add your strategy to the chart, hit Optimize, and let evolution do the rest.
